July 3, 2008 is the first flight date of Cirrus Jet. At exactly 10am Cirrus Jet flew for the first time from Duluth International Airport. According to Cirrus the jet flew flawlessly in its 45-min flight.
Cirrus Jet is a next-generation aircraft. It is a v-tailed, single-engine personal jet. Designed for a single pilot operation with a flexible seating design which allows up to seven passengers. It is powered by Williams International FJ33-4A-19 engine. It is capable of flying about 300 kt. with an airspeed of 25,000-ft at a maximum operating altitude.
